JEDI Panel Discussion

  • Billings Public Library 510 North Broadway Billings, MT, 59101 United States (map)

Ensuring the opportunity for all voices and perspectives to be heard and honored is an integral part of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ values and mission. BBBSYC is announcing the formation of the justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) committee and hosting discussions here in Yellowstone County.

The formation of this committee is part of BBBSYC’s responsibility to create a non-discriminatory and anti-racist approach to dismantle any inequities within its policies, systems, programs, and services, so all young people can experience a strong mentoring relationship in their lives.

The JEDI committee is comprised of selected experts and leaders in, and allies of, diverse communities in Yellowstone County, including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), LGBTQ+, business leaders, and influencers. BBBSYC will work with the committee on recommendations to enhance programming and cream more equitable outcomes for the young people we serve.

Join us on September 28th at 5:30 pm in the Billings Public Library community room to hear the experiences of those in the community, and discover ways that you can support JEDI initiatives in Yellowstone County.
